Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst who excels at translating complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable information. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, business intelligence tools, and construction technology platforms (such as Kahua, Procore, or similar). This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical project teams and business stakeholders—ensuring everyone stays aligned, informed, and focused on results. This is a remote position, but you must be local to Nashville, TN for occasional onsite meetings. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate technical or data-driven insights into plain, easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and business intelligence reports to support decision-making.
  • Partner with project managers, developers, and end-users to ensure clear communication throughout all project phases.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams—ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Support implementation, testing, and rollout of construction software solutions such as Kahua, Procore, or similar platforms.
  • Document business processes, data flows, and system requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user-friendly materials to help teams understand new tools and systems.

Job Requirement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in construction, engineering, or technology-driven industries.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI and other business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — must be able to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with construction management or project software such as Kahua, Procore, or similar systems.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and reports.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in data visualization, report automation, or KPI tracking.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to various audiences—executives, technical teams, and field staff.
