Software Engineer

Search Group Solutions has partnered with a tech client who develops AR/VR/VE products and environments for the top tech companies in the world.   

This position is full time w/ benefits for our client. This is a fully remote position.

This position is focused around building engineering services including (but not limited to) test device machine management, developer environment provisioning, test orchestration and execution, and debugging on C#, Powershell, .net, Azure DevOps, & Artifactory.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and implement tools and services around         
• Own accurate costing for engineering activities and execute with high schedule accountability
• Provide clear documentation and technical write-ups on code written

• Several years of coding experience building tools or features leveraging object-oriented design and E2E testing practices in one of more of these languages: C++, C#, Powershell, Objective C, Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with source code management tools like GIT
• Knowledge with CI / CD build and test systems such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Artifactory

Nice to Haves:

• Debugging experience on Windows, Android, IOS and work with Code Aurora
• Familiarity with “Infrastructure As Code” Practices
• Android based App Development and testing with GoogleTest
• An understanding of building cloud services in either Azure (Functions, Key Vault, IOT Hub, Kusto Query Language, PaaS, SaaS, etc.), AWS (Lambda, etc.), or other Cloud solutions
• GitHub project and source code management
• Development in WSL
